To submit a story directly you can:
1) email me the story in a word document,
2) submit it in the box below (best to type in word until happy with it, then copy and paste it in).
3) or arrange a time to meet and share your story verbally (ie an interview which is really just a chat).
4 )If you would like to email me the story as a word document please send me your email address, with this stated in the subject line and I will contact you.
To contribute: requirements for submission:
•The story (stories) must be less than 5 pages. They can be any length under this.
•The rough date, and location around the river should be included or described.
•Please include your full name and contact details incase I need to get in touch regarding permission and editing.
•If writing it down appears daunting, just write as though you are speaking it out loud to someone.
•Get creative- possible ideas; think about how the river makes you feel, how the particular adventure affected you, what you enjoy or don’t enjoy about the time you’ve spent around the river, what did you do when you were younger, has the way you enjoy the river changed?
•Poetry is also welcome!
•If you have any photos you’d like to share either relating to your story or that conjure a particular thought about the river, these are also welcome!!
In all situations a short legal disclaimer will need to be agreed to, obtaining your permission for me to edit and draw on your story for this publishable collection
