I have wanted to explore and share with local audiences stories of our interaction with the river, for some time. It took a successful grant application to convince me that it was a worthwhile project and not just a dreamy idea. Grateful acknowledgment goes to The Foundation for Young Australians and their ‘Spark Fund’, not only for their financial support but also for their recognition of the value in this endeavour.
I would encourage any young person with the ‘spark’ of an idea or passion to believe in it and have a go getting it out there.
